Model Parameters

The model parameters consist of two parts:

• Input parameters (entered by the user): e.g., the number of animals, housing systems, manure storage and application information
• Technical parameters (which cannot be modified by users): These are the variables affecting ammonia emissions considered in the model. They encompass animal categories, nitrogen excretion rates per animal, soluble nitrogen proportions in excretions, and both emission factors and correction factors.
